1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using SwapGift (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Service is not available where prohibited by applicable law.
3. Description of the Service
SwapGift lets users sell gift cards in exchange for cryptocurrency credited to an in-platform wallet. Offers (accepted brands, exchange rate, and limits) are set by SwapGift. Each trade is reviewed manually through a chat before any payout is released.
4. Account registration
You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
5. Identity verification (KYC)
We may require identity verification before allowing certain actions, such as withdrawals above a set threshold. We may reject, delay, or reverse a transaction if verification fails or the information provided is false.
6. Trades and payouts
When you open a trade, you agree to provide accurate gift card details through the trade chat. Payment is released to your wallet only after the gift card is confirmed valid. SwapGift may cancel a trade at its discretion if the gift card cannot be verified, appears fraudulent, or the code does not work.
7. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service to submit stolen, fraudulent, or unauthorized gift cards; to launder money; to violate any applicable law; or to interfere with the operation of the Service.
8. Wallet and withdrawals
Balances shown in your wallet are internal ledger entries and, during this prototype phase, do not represent custody of real cryptocurrency unless stated otherwise. Withdrawal requests are reviewed and processed manually by our team.
9. Fees and rates
Exchange rates are shown on each offer before you open a trade and may change between offers. SwapGift does not guarantee that any particular rate will remain available.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Cryptocurrency values are volatile, and SwapGift is not responsible for market fluctuations.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwapGift is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
